Manrique Lara had this famous bridge built in Galisteo.
You will be able to see this medieval bridge spanning the Jerte river as it flows through the village of Galisteo, in Cáceres. It was built in 1546 by order of Garcí Fernández Manrique de Lara, the third Count of Osorno. As a result of this is it also known as the Manrique Lara bridge. Built with blocks of granite, it has seven arches and a small shrine with the image of Saint Paul.
